Frank James of the Tribune is blaming the U.S. for mass murderer Khalid Sheikh Mohammed's state of mind in the transcript of his confession released today.
At the very least, Mohammed comes across as more than a little strange, which may be attributable to all the time he spent as a guest of the Central Intelligence Agency and the U.S. military at Guantanamo.Meaning, by implication, Khalid was entirely normal before we got hold of him.
