Zorn has debated whether Ayers was or still is a terrorist, cited fact checks that say the Obama-Ayers alliance is overstated when no journalist has seriously tried to answer that question, and, in a new twist, is suggesting that since the Tribune didn't note any critics of Ayers during the 1990s, the story now is invalid. So, when a newspaper ignores a story it goes down in history as a non-story? That's some circular logic you can believe in.
Zorn and his fellow Chicago journalists should put their Obama pom pons down for a few weeks and require Obama and Ayers to provide real answers to legitimate questions voters have outside the Hyde Park-Chicago journalism cabal.
